Oversee all plant accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, cost accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting. Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end closes, budgeting/forecasting, audits, internal controls, KPI tracking, and support M&A and capital projects. Manage and mentor the accounting team and partner with operations and leadership to drive cost management and regulatory compliance for ethanol production.

Direct and supervise shift operations at a corn-based ethanol plant to meet production, quality, environmental, and safety goals. Manage staffing, incident response and investigations, coordinate maintenance resources, enforce policies and GMP, and support employee development while covering shift-driven scheduling and outage duties.

Lead and scope plant process and expansion projects to maximize production and yield, troubleshoot operations, standardize best practices using data analysis (JMP), write procedures, support management and maintenance, and lead continuous improvement and operational areas as needed.
