Supports a youth mentoring program on Martha’s Vineyard by engaging students, mentors, and families; monitoring mentoring relationships; organizing outings, orientations, and trainings; tracking participation and evaluation data; recruiting and enrolling youth; and recommending curriculum adjustments. The role works within the local school system and collaborates with program staff to strengthen mentor-mentee relationships and support students’ academic and personal development.

Conduct interviews, reference checks, collateral contacts, legal reviews, and assessments for prospective youth and volunteers. Coordinate enrollment, prepare participants, facilitate matching meetings, document records, advocate for placement, and support youth and families. The role requires collaboration with service staff, youth safety monitoring, community representation, and participation in events and diversity initiatives. Work may be remote but includes travel to homes and program sites, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Lead regional program delivery by hiring, coaching, and managing Program Services staff; build partnerships and recruit volunteers; ensure quality, safety, and performance metrics; represent the agency at events; support regional growth and problem-solving; travel throughout the region as needed.
