Manages daily transfer station operations, including health and safety, environmental and employment compliance, customer service, KPI performance, productivity, profitability, and continuous improvement. Supervises, coaches, and develops employees in a unionized environment, manages the P&L budget, coordinates cross-divisional waste solutions, and ensures adherence to company policies and legislation.

Identify and secure new business opportunities in the waste and resource management sector. Build relationships with prospective customers, manage the sales pipeline, lead opportunities from initial contact through contract award, and support growth targets. The remote-based role requires regular travel to customer sites and meetings.

Manage a portfolio of debtor accounts, proactively collect overdue payments, investigate and resolve payment issues, negotiate repayment plans, review credit limits, raise credit notes, support month-end reporting, and assist the Credit Manager. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, organization, Excel skills, accuracy, resilience, and a target-driven approach.
