Leads BibliU’s engineering function, including team growth, technical governance, security, architecture, delivery predictability, and engineering standards. The role manages approximately 15 engineers, develops engineering managers, improves availability and incident performance, establishes reliable release processes, and scales full-stack TypeScript applications on AWS. It also drives organization-wide adoption of AI-assisted development with appropriate quality and security controls, while defining the technical roadmap for continued company growth.

Supports campus bookstore textbook operations by collecting and tracking faculty adoptions, coordinating with publishers and vendors, assisting with inventory receiving, shelving, returns, and maintaining accurate sales and inventory records. Serves as a frontline contact for faculty and students, monitors deadlines, communicates order details, and escalates complex issues. Requires retail, customer service, or administrative experience, strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and computer proficiency.

Owns monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entities, including reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, controls, technical accounting research, and reporting. Partners with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Treasury to assess accounting implications, manage risk, and improve processes through automation. The role requires strong judgment, advanced Excel skills, multi-jurisdiction accounting knowledge, and the ability to keep close deadlines on track.
