Editing interns format manuscripts, evaluate submissions, copy edit according to Chicago Manual of Style guidelines, proofread manuscripts and layouts, and assist with special projects. The role is remote, unpaid, runs for 26 weeks, and requires 10–20 hours weekly. Interns should have excellent spelling, grammar, communication, organization, deadline management, and Microsoft Word skills, including Track Changes proficiency.
