Own full-cycle recruiting for engineering, manufacturing, and business roles at an early-stage space hardware company. Partner with founders and hiring managers on role scoping, leveling, and compensation; build specialized sourcing pipelines; run structured interviews and reference checks; manage referrals; establish ATS, offer, and onboarding processes; and strengthen the company’s employer reputation among hardware and space engineering talent.

Build internal software tools supporting the design and analysis of large deployable space structures. Develop front-end visualization and analysis tools, back-end systems for simulation and test data, cloud compute infrastructure, storage solutions, CI coverage, and deployment pipelines. Collaborate with mechanical and simulation engineers to improve workflows, simulation performance, reporting, and data fidelity. The role also supports data-driven sim-to-real solutions and scalable systems across programs and products.

Design, analyze, and validate mechanical systems and actuators for large deployable space structures. Create CAD models, perform classical and FEA across load cases, develop and execute test and qualification plans, produce drawings/BOMs/assembly docs, optimize for cost and manufacturability, and collaborate for spacecraft integration.
