Leads county administration under Commissioners Court direction, overseeing departments, personnel, service delivery, policy implementation, strategic planning, legal compliance, budgeting, investments, and intergovernmental coordination. Advises elected officials, manages organizational and staffing decisions, supports public meetings, and ensures effective delivery of internal and external county services.

Provide immigration consultations and support to MAC panel attorneys and clients; manage legal resources and intake assignments; liaise with courts; assist as first or second chair counsel when feasible; monitor financial claims and caseload adherence; support training, publications, and juvenile defense initiatives; track legislative and practice changes in immigration law.

Monitors, audits, and analyzes department and division budgets; evaluates budget requests and recommends approvals; conducts management analysis and performance reviews; develops performance metrics; advises officials and department leaders on budget policies; researches budgetary issues; and supports grant preparation and related financial activities.
