Supports mechanical engineering for installed material handling systems, including upgrades, retrofits, troubleshooting, commissioning, and performance improvements. Develops 2D and 3D CAD designs, technical documentation, system evaluations, and implementation plans. Coordinates with engineering, purchasing, project management, field service, and customers to deliver service projects. Performs root cause analysis and continuous improvement while considering reliability, maintainability, cost, manufacturing feasibility, and operational performance. Travel to domestic and international customer sites may be required.

Supports installed baggage handling and sortation systems by troubleshooting, programming, maintaining, and enhancing PLC-based machine controls. Diagnoses live operational issues, interprets electrical schematics, supports I/O networks, testing, commissioning, upgrades, and modernization. Collaborates with engineering, software, service, field technicians, and customers while documenting changes, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions. The role requires customer-site travel of up to 25%.

Develop, maintain, and debug software for industrial PCs and robotic platforms. Program and integrate industrial robots, motion control systems, communication applications, and computer vision solutions. Apply geometry and spatial reasoning to robot motion and object positioning. Contribute to innovative products from prototype through market launch while collaborating with global, cross-functional teams.
