Build and scale backend trading and money-movement systems for a financial services platform. Design software components, optimize distributed systems, maintain stability and security, and support regulatory risk checks. Collaborate across engineering teams, lead projects, balance delivery with quality, and mentor other engineers.

Manage and mentor a team of 6–8 backend engineers building scalable trading technology. Provide technical guidance through code reviews, architecture decisions, and stakeholder collaboration while balancing delivery speed, reliability, maintainability, and regulatory correctness. Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and vendors to deliver effective solutions. Drive engineer development, team culture, accountability, process improvement, and alignment between business strategy and engineering initiatives.

Own Betterment at Work’s channel partnerships, including sourcing, contracting, onboarding, enablement, co-selling, referrals, pipeline generation, forecasting, and partner growth. Develop joint go-to-market plans, coordinate cross-functional execution, manage partner activity in Salesforce, report results to leadership, and use market feedback to improve messaging, enablement, positioning, and channel strategy.
