Staff Accountant II manages grant accounting, budgeting, billing, reporting, compliance, and close-out activities. The role processes and reconciles biweekly payroll, taxes, benefits, journal entries, and related balance sheet accounts. Responsibilities also include bank reconciliations, month-end close, financial analysis, audit support, grant reimbursement documentation, and maintaining accounting procedures. The position works with Finance, Human Resources, program staff, funders, and payroll providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting.
