Provides administrative and secretarial support to department leadership, including phone screening, greeting visitors, scheduling meetings and appointments, arranging events and travel, preparing and proofreading documents, maintaining records and databases, managing inventory, reconciling invoices, and assisting with internal laboratory audits.

Provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to a department director, including calendar and meeting coordination, correspondence, reports, presentations, filing, financial processing, travel arrangements, confidential personnel records, onboarding, compliance tracking, and staff training logistics. Acts as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, manages departmental processes, supports budget activities, and handles sensitive information while maintaining organizational policies and service standards.

Conducts hospital security rounds, responds to public safety and emergency calls, monitors patients and facilities, operates CCTV and dispatch systems, supports communications, liaises with emergency services, and de-escalates crisis situations. The role requires maintaining safety equipment and posts, providing customer-focused service, and working evening shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
