The Senior Accountant manages month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, grant and fund accounting, billing, receivables, audits, budgets, tax filings, and financial reporting. The role may involve working with children exhibiting behavioral challenges and requires physical activity, lifting up to 50 pounds, and participation in safety-related restraint exercises.

Provides peer support to clients and families experiencing behavioral health challenges. Uses lived experience to build trust, identify goals, navigate care systems, connect clients with resources, advocate for needs, support crisis engagement, and strengthen community connections. Collaborates with clinical teams and service providers, maintains documentation and confidentiality, uses an electronic health record, and travels throughout the community. Evening availability and a valid driver’s license are required.

Leads accounting operations and financial strategy for a nonprofit behavioral health and education organization. Oversees budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, tax filings, internal controls, grant and restricted-fund accounting, regulatory compliance, and financial analysis. Partners with the CFO and executive leadership to support sustainability and informed investment decisions while managing and developing the accounting team.

Coordinates administrative operations for a Mobile Response and Stabilization Services program. Responsibilities include answering the crisis line, dispatching therapists, managing client intake and records, maintaining confidential information, entering and auditing program data, supporting reporting, and providing office and customer-service support. The role requires calm, compassionate communication when assisting children, families, community partners, and staff during behavioral health crises.

Supervise and engage children during morning school-age childcare programming.
