Supports routine and ad hoc accounting functions, including general ledger review, journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, cash-flow monitoring, audit support, expense review, and payment/refund reconciliation. Coordinates with outsourced accounting providers, corporate finance, university departments, and vendors while supporting internal controls, regulatory compliance, and property tax filings.

Process scheduled and off-cycle payrolls, validate inputs and payroll registers, resolve discrepancies, prepare funding and reconciliation records, maintain vendor master data, support compliance and year-end reporting, and protect confidential employee and payment information. The role partners with HR, Accounting, Tax, auditors, employees, and payroll providers while maintaining payroll controls and documentation.

Oversee and optimize the generation, management, and distribution of business-critical print and electronic outputs, including invoices, statements, and reports. Plan and execute projects, define development specifications, implement IT solutions and automation, document processes, consult with departments, and ensure accurate, efficient output workflows. Requires procurement experience, SAP or ERP expertise, strong Microsoft Office skills, communication, organization, and the ability to travel approximately 5%.
