Programs and operates lighting consoles for theater, opera, dance, and music productions during technical and dress rehearsals. Collaborates with lighting designers and production teams to create, revise, and maintain cues, effects, moving-light programming, and show files. Troubleshoots console and system issues, maintains equipment, communicates production updates, and trains or supervises student operators and production assistants.

Provides live piano or percussion accompaniment for ballet and modern/contemporary dance technique classes. Improvises or selects music to match instructors’ tempos, meters, phrasing, musicality, and exercise lengths; maintains consistent timing; adapts to instructional requests; and supports dancers through creative, stylistically appropriate performance. Requires advanced instrumental technique, strong musicality, improvisation, communication, and sight-reading skills. A music degree is preferred, as is prior experience accompanying dance classes.

Provides culturally relevant short-term therapy, psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and clinical consultation for a diverse student population. Manages a clinical caseload, supports emergency response and post-discharge planning, maintains electronic medical records, and refers students to specialized or long-term care. The role also involves outreach, consultation with campus stakeholders, supervision, and training focused on historically underserved and culturally stigmatized populations.
