Berkeley Student Cooperative, Inc.

Berkeley Student Cooperative (BSC) is a nonprofit, student-run housing cooperative that provides affordable housing and board to students at UC Berkeley and other Bay Area colleges and universities. Its low-cost cooperative living model combines residential community with democratic governance and member-contributed work to keep costs down. The organization supports students who might otherwise struggle to afford university education, operating houses and apartment cooperatives near the UC Berkeley campus.
