Teams at Benefit & Risk Management Services (BRMS)

Coordinates claims administration by clearing SDS eligibility and rejected error queues, maintaining provider rosters, uploading claims data, updating spreadsheets, monitoring rejected claim inventory, responding to inquiries, and supporting claims leadership. The role also assists with special projects, reporting, workflow improvements, and general administrative functions.

Provides company-wide support for computer hardware, software, peripherals, and end users. Installs, tests, repairs, and maintains systems; troubleshoots technical issues; manages software and scheduled maintenance; supports cloud backup, business continuity, virtualization, Linux, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and VoIP systems. The role also documents systems, recommends technology improvements, assists with IT projects and quality assurance, and supports remote employees.

Processes pension applications and death notifications, verifies member and employer documentation, prepares election forms and benefit analyses, requests and issues initial payments, manages member suspensions, checks recalculations, and estimates pension benefits and vesting credits. Provides phone and walk-in customer assistance while maintaining accurate benefit information and adapting to plan document changes.
