Teams at Belk

Manage and coordinate retail activities for a vendor beauty line across stores, acting as liaison between Belk and vendor. Drive sales, promotions, and events; recruit, train, coach, and develop beauty advisors; perform regular in-store visits; monitor KPIs and shrinkage; maintain merchandising and visual standards; and communicate business updates to field and corporate leadership.

Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned spend categories: develop and score RFIs/RFPs, perform financial bid analysis, negotiate contracts (including MSAs), conduct supply market research, and manage vendor/stakeholder relationships. Mentor and train subordinate analysts, review low-risk contracts, support cross-functional projects, and liaise with legal, finance, and business leaders. Maintain strategic sourcing best practices and drive category strategy execution.

Designs, implements, tests, and supports retail software features and integrations (POS, payments, promotion engines). Participates in Agile planning, mentors junior engineers, troubleshoots production issues, and tracks emerging technologies.
