Lead project managers and oversee customer-facing, full-lifecycle projects in a custom engineering and manufacturing environment. Establish project plans, schedules, processes, and communication standards; coordinate Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and Service; manage resources, risks, budgets, change orders, and customer concerns; and ensure on-time delivery, financial performance, and customer satisfaction. Develop the project management team and serve as an escalation point for complex issues.

Supports senior sales and applications engineers throughout the sales cycle, including customer communication, quotations, proposals, CRM maintenance, forecasting, order documentation, lead qualification, and trade show follow-up. Develops technical knowledge of hydraulic presses, automation equipment, manufacturing processes, and customer applications through mentorship and training. The role gradually assumes greater responsibility for customer interactions and sales activities, with occasional travel for customer visits and training.

Leads and develops a team of electrical and controls engineers, oversees schematics and controls approvals, establishes design standards and SOPs, allocates project resources, and ensures quality and performance. Partners with estimating and mechanical engineering, supports strategic planning and resource forecasting, contributes to selected projects, and assists with equipment troubleshooting. The role requires strong electrical and controls expertise, engineering judgment, communication, and experience with industrial machinery.
