Bear Robotics Benefits Overview

Leads the architecture, development, optimization, integration, and testing of robotics software and autonomy algorithms for perception, planning, control, and navigation. Provides technical leadership through mentoring and code reviews, collaborates with hardware and product teams, documents systems, and contributes to research publications and industry advancements. The role requires extensive deployed robotics software experience, strong C++ skills, robotics simulation proficiency, and knowledge of computer vision, machine learning, and control theory.

Owns the end-to-end deployment of unmanned forklifts, from project kickoff and planning through on-site setup, commissioning, validation, and completion reporting. Acts as the technical liaison among customers, engineering teams, SI partners, manufacturers, and ODM vendors. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, project scheduling, system integration support, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, deployment documentation, and field feedback. Requires extended travel and assignments in warehouses or industrial environments.

Own global accounting policies and reporting for inventory, fixed assets, revenue recognition, COGS, depreciation, and warranty provisions across US, UK, and Ireland entities. The role performs journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, technical accounting under US GAAP and IFRS, financial controls, audit support, tax compliance, ERP automation, and financial statement preparation. Requires cross-functional collaboration, global entity management, and occasional international travel.
