Lead after-school academic and enrichment activities for students, supervise and assist with learning and play, maintain a safe classroom environment, manage attendance and restroom breaks, distribute snacks, and clean classrooms. The instructor will collaborate professionally with school staff, parents, and program partners. Candidates need at least one year of youth experience, dependability, transportation to the assigned school, independent work ability, background and fingerprinting clearance, and authorization to work in the U.S.

Coordinates daily after-school program operations, supervises staff, maintains a safe and structured environment, supports student activities, manages attendance and supplies, enforces discipline policies, and builds relationships with students, families, school staff, and community members. Ensures compliance with organizational, district, safety, and licensing requirements while addressing students’ academic and social-emotional needs.

Provide small-group reading or math instruction to grades 3–5 students in an after-school elementary setting. Tutors reinforce grade-level skills, support comprehension, fluency, problem-solving, and foundational math, monitor student progress, adjust instruction, and maintain a positive learning environment. The role requires collaboration with school staff and strong communication, classroom management, and student-support skills.
