Advises multinational businesses on international corporate tax planning, compliance, cross-border structuring, reorganisations, financing, M&A, and evolving global tax requirements such as Pillar Two. Responsibilities include researching complex tax issues, delivering commercially focused recommendations, coordinating international projects, managing client relationships, collaborating across BDO’s global network, and mentoring junior professionals. Opportunities span part-qualified senior through director levels and are based in Dublin with hybrid working.

Leads a diverse audit client portfolio, overseeing complex engagements from planning through completion. Acts as a senior client advisor, manages engagement finances and resources, provides audit and accounting guidance, supports business development, and leads pitches and tenders. Develops audit staff through training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management while collaborating with Partners and other service lines to deliver high-quality client solutions.

Lead external audit engagements for financial services clients, including investment funds, asset managers, lenders, SPVs, and other regulated entities. Apply ISA (Ireland), IFRS, and Irish GAAP requirements; assess controls and financial reporting risks; execute audit procedures; review documentation; manage budgets, timelines, and client expectations; and coach junior staff. The role also involves presenting findings, resolving audit queries, and supporting technology-enabled audit improvements.
