BDC Benefits Overview

Leads venture capital and growth equity operations for assigned funds, including investment transactions, AML/KYC, cap table updates, legal documentation, procedures, training, governance, risk reviews, audits, and process improvement. Serves as an escalation point for complex files, supports committee governance and business continuity, and collaborates with Risk, Legal, Finance, and Corporate Secretariat teams. Requires bilingual English and French communication and 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Supports and administers enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and Red Hat Linux platforms across hybrid environments. Responsibilities include platform lifecycle management, troubleshooting, incident response, automation with Ansible, PowerShell, and Python, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure validation, monitoring, image management, security hardening, and reliability improvements. The role also evaluates future VDI technologies and collaborates with infrastructure, security, application, and service management teams.

The Associate Director will support government-backed venture capital programs through fund investment execution, underwriting, structuring, negotiation, governance, portfolio oversight, and reporting. The role manages relationships with fund managers, institutional partners, and government stakeholders; participates in LPACs; monitors fund performance and compliance; contributes to program improvements; represents BDC in the venture capital ecosystem; and mentors junior team members.
