Supports Rates Sales professionals serving U.S. corporate clients with derivatives-based risk management and hedging solutions. Responsibilities include preparing pitches and presentations, developing market insights, supporting pricing and trade execution, coordinating onboarding and documentation, and discussing products with clients. The role collaborates with trading, risk, operations, legal, and global teams in a fast-paced trading-floor environment while contributing to sales objectives.

Provide legal advice and transaction management for Global Markets in APAC, drafting and negotiating OTC derivatives, structured notes, deposits and capital markets documentation; liaise with clients, external counsel and regulators; advise on cross-border regulatory/netting issues; support market expansion, branch/subsidiary openings, electronic trading agreements, template development, and selection of external advisers; handle cross-regional projects and monitor legal/regulatory developments.

Supports BBVA’s Control Room and Registration programs by managing information barriers, watch and restricted lists, employee personal trading surveillance, regulatory registrations, investigations, policies, audits, examinations, training, and compliance reporting. The role partners with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and business stakeholders while monitoring SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, and related regulatory requirements. It also enhances surveillance processes, compliance technology, governance documentation, and operational efficiency.
