Staff Accountant responsible for building and managing company accounting processes, maintaining accurate general ledgers, processing payables, reconciling accounts, managing fixed assets and lease schedules, monitoring cash, reviewing retail and fuel margins, preparing tax and 1099 reports, and supporting store managers and internal stakeholders.

Maintain accurate retail pricing, cost, product, and promotional data in the POS pricebook system. Investigate invoice, UPC, scanning, inventory, and pricing discrepancies; coordinate resolutions with stores, vendors, accounting, marketing, and operations. Support promotional execution, vendor data management, billing and performance tracking, and store system functionality. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical problem-solving, organization, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Manages the full accounts payable lifecycle, including high-volume invoice processing, GL coding, vendor reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and supplier communication. Supports month-end close through journal entries and account reconciliations, prepares reports, and contributes to process improvements and system enhancements. May assist with accounts receivable, inventory, and fixed assets. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, organization, analytical ability, and proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
