Administers and supports SAP ASE and PostgreSQL databases in AWS, including configuration, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, backups, replication, upgrades, patching, authentication, and disaster recovery. Supports migration from SAP ASE to Amazon RDS PostgreSQL, resolves production issues, develops database architecture and schemas, and collaborates with engineering and IT teams on cloud, hybrid-environment, and database improvement initiatives.

Lead daily PostgreSQL and SAP ASE database administration for a federal client, including monitoring, replication, backup and recovery, security, performance tuning, capacity planning, migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery.
