Design electrical distribution, automation, controls, SCADA, instrumentation, and control panel systems for municipal water and wastewater facilities. Prepare electrical plans, one-line diagrams, P&IDs, specifications, wiring schematics, panel layouts, bills of material, and system submittals. Collaborate with integrators, project managers, and multidisciplinary design teams, review standards and code compliance, and occasionally visit client sites to assess field conditions.

Supports project managers with engineering design for water, wastewater, and municipal infrastructure projects. Duties include preparing construction plans and specifications, performing calculations, drafting reports and feasibility studies, estimating quantities and costs, evaluating infrastructure, supporting permitting and compliance, reviewing contractor submittals, and conducting field investigations. Requires collaboration, independent work, site visits, and travel throughout the service area.

GIS Interns perform mapping, geospatial data development, editing, analysis, quality control, and GIS database maintenance using Esri software. They support ArcGIS Online maps, applications, dashboards, and mobile solutions; collect and verify municipal asset data using GPS/GNSS; incorporate field and record information; and assist with troubleshooting and special projects. The role combines office-based GIS work with outdoor field collection and requires collaboration with municipal clients and GIS professionals.
