Own accounting integrity and build scalable financial systems for a high-growth AI company. Lead close, reconciliations, reporting, revenue recognition, spend visibility, procurement controls, and audit readiness. Redesign accounting workflows using AI while maintaining human oversight, explainability, and auditability. Partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, People, and leadership to improve systems, financial insight, and operating processes.

Founding BDR to build an outbound motion from scratch: design and test messaging and channels, research and prioritize target accounts, book meetings with finance leaders, instrument outreach tools and reporting, and feed market intel back to product and GTM teams.

Serve as Basis’s first in-house counsel, managing commercial contracts, corporate governance, board and stockholder matters, cap tables, equity administration, fundraising, strategic partnerships, and personnel issues. Build scalable legal infrastructure, including templates, playbooks, approval processes, obligation tracking, and contract-management systems. Advise leadership and cross-functional teams on practical legal risks while independently handling broad corporate and commercial matters in a fast-growing company.
