Lead and develop the engineering team to support precision machining operations. Manage projects from concept to implementation, drive continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), optimize manufacturing methods and tooling, oversee documentation and compliance, support capital projects and cross-functional collaboration to improve quality, safety, throughput, and customer satisfaction.

Develop CMM inspection programs from engineering drawings and CAD using Polyworks, perform first-piece/first-article inspections, maintain customer FAs, monitor CMM throughput, create inspection plans for production, support corrective actions and SPC, and communicate status with clients.

Drive new business growth in Calgary by engaging decision-makers at directional drilling companies and operators, building executive-level relationships, securing vendor approvals and long-term supply commitments, managing key accounts and pipeline in HubSpot, coordinating with Sales and Engineering, and representing WZL at select industry events.
