Teams at Bank of Marin

Provides senior credit leadership for commercial banking, reviewing and structuring complex loan opportunities before formal underwriting. Oversees relationship and portfolio managers, ensures credit quality and policy compliance, monitors portfolio risk, reviews financial and collateral analysis, coaches lending staff, and supports credit procedures, process improvements, and commercial banking strategy.

Supports commercial banking credit management by preparing credit recommendations, ordering loan documentation, maintaining financial-information ticklers, spreading business and personal financial statements, underwriting less complex credits, researching loan activity, and interpreting credit reports. Works with loan officers to support credit approvals, loan administration, customer correspondence, and accurate credit documentation.

Investigates potential money laundering, terrorist financing, Bank Secrecy Act violations, and banking fraud. Reviews and validates case documentation, prepares Suspicious Activity Reports, maintains case records in the Prime BSA Reporting System, supports customer risk assessments and OFAC reviews, and advises branch personnel on AML and fraud matters. Requires analytical research, documentation, communication, banking operations knowledge, and familiarity with AML/FRAUD regulations.
