Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation while solving ambiguous technical problems and developing scalable platform capabilities.

Build and operate scalable billing infrastructure for global communications services. Design accurate financial systems, improve billing performance and reliability, collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders, participate in architecture and code reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers. The role requires distributed-systems experience, Java, SQL, cloud familiarity, strong communication, and effective use and review of AI-generated code. Bonus experience includes Datadog, Terraform, startup environments, and GitHub Actions.

Design, develop, test, operate, and monitor distributed web services, REST APIs, React dashboards, and AWS infrastructure for the Numbers platform. Solve scaling, performance, availability, and fault-tolerance challenges; lead solutions from design through production; mentor engineers; collaborate with product stakeholders; contribute to technical roadmaps; and use AI tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
