Performs general hotel maintenance and repairs across carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, mechanics, and finish work. Responds to guest service requests, completes work orders, conducts preventive maintenance, maintains tools and equipment, and documents completed tasks. Supports emergency response, identifies needed parts and supplies, assists other engineers, and escalates major building or system issues to management.

Manage daily HR operations including recruiting/onboarding, benefits administration, worker's compensation, employee relations, leave management (FMLA/CFRA/ADA), compliance (I-9, EEOC, OSHA), training/orientation, recordkeeping, and engagement initiatives. Provide manager guidance on discipline and maintain confidential personnel and medical files.

Lead design and delivery of training programs, ensure compliance with certifications and luxury service standards, supervise training staff, audit progress, collaborate with vendors, and support managers in performance and discipline to elevate guest service and team capability.
