Lead and deliver primary HV substation design up to 400kV, manage and mentor engineers and CAD technicians, provide technical oversight (including CDAE for National Grid), prepare and approve layouts, SLDs, calculations and specifications, coordinate project delivery, support bids/tenders, and ensure quality across feasibility, detailed design, construction and FAT activities.

Builds and enforces BIM strategy, standards and deliverables across large multidisciplinary projects. Manages Common Data Environments, model coordination, COBie asset delivery and handovers to ensure ISO19650 compliance. Acts as client-facing BIM consultant, chairs meetings, supports supply chains, and drives digital tool adoption, training and process improvement.

Support design coordination and compliance under the Design Manager, track design progress, manage document control, build stakeholder communication skills, learn risk management, commercial/project management and contract change processes while working across multidisciplinary teams.
