Prepares instrumentation and process control construction documents using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, supports BIM implementation, and contributes to control network, PLC, DCS, QCS, P&ID, and valve specification documentation. The role includes field data collection, equipment startup support, proposal and estimate preparation, and interdisciplinary coordination on industrial projects.

Process Engineering Summer Interns support design engineers on heavy industrial projects. Responsibilities include system analysis, pump sizing, stress analysis, mass balances, process flow and piping instrumentation diagrams, building air calculations, and construction drawing development using engineering and design software. Interns collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and gain exposure to mechanical systems serving industrial and pulp and paper facilities.

Paid, in-person summer internship supporting electrical and instrumentation design for industrial projects. Responsibilities include arc flash and systems analysis, DCS/PLC/HMI programming support, construction drawing development using Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, BIM implementation, interdisciplinary coordination, and learning building codes, NEC, and OSHA requirements.
