Administers medication according to protocols, maintains automated dispensing equipment, manages controlled-substance inventory, completes required records and reports, assesses patients, and supports nursing staff orientation. The role requires compliance with federal and state regulations, DEA requirements, and medication security standards while collaborating with physicians, nursing supervisors, and counseling staff.

Provides 24-hour, non-clinical supervision and recovery support to substance-use treatment clients. Responsibilities include enforcing policies, monitoring medication administration, documenting behaviors and interactions in the EMR, supporting admissions and discharges, attending groups, and transporting clients to meetings, medical appointments, admissions, discharges, and the gym.
