Partner with executives, engineering, sales, marketing, and customers to guide product development, adoption, revenue, and retention. Lead through influence in a fully remote environment while maintaining technical credibility in Java, JVM architecture, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise SaaS.

Analyze Java benchmarks and customer workloads to identify compiler performance gaps, then improve Falcon’s LLVM-based JIT optimizer and code generator. Implement optimizations such as inlining, loop transformations, vectorization, redundancy elimination, and speculative optimization for x86_64 and AArch64. Develop regression tests and benchmarks, investigate generated machine code, and contribute relevant improvements upstream to LLVM.

Own and improve Falcon, Azul’s LLVM-based optimizing JIT compiler, across performance analysis, optimization design, implementation, validation, and code generation for x86_64 and AArch64. Develop compiler optimizations, investigate customer performance issues, contribute upstream to LLVM, review code, mentor engineers, and deliver measurable improvements on real workloads.
