In 1992, the company was acquired by Mark Nicotera. In 2014, AZ MediQuip became a retail, patient pay only player in the home medical equipment field due to contractual changes with Medicare. Soon after, AZ Mediquip enjoyed rapid growth due to its customer solution focus, extraordinary product selection and availability, as well as industry leading customer service. In 2020 Gemini Investors purchased AZ MediQuip, Inc and formed MediQuip, USA Holdings. Gemini Investors hired Mark Belanger COO to be Mr nicotera‘s successor in 2021.
