Pre-sales Sales Engineer supporting Axon’s public safety technology across South and Central America. Responsibilities include technical presentations, customer and partner engagement, pre-sales support, proofs of concept, pilots, product positioning, technical documentation, RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work, and cross-functional feedback. The role is based in Bogotá, requires fluent Spanish and English, and involves travel of up to 70%.

Performs pre-sales technical support for Axon’s public safety technology solutions in Brazil and Latin America. Delivers technical presentations, supports customer evaluations and pilots, develops statements of work, responds to RFPs and RFIs, positions products against competitors, supports sales proposals, and coordinates with partners and internal product, engineering, marketing, and support teams. Requires extensive customer travel, Portuguese and English fluency, SaaS and networking knowledge, and experience with public procurement.

Conduct applied AI research in computer vision, machine learning, generative AI, and multimodal systems. Lead research from proof of concept through production, developing responsible and privacy-preserving models for visual data. Create metrics, optimize models for resource-constrained devices, validate performance, collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product managers, and contribute to publications, technical documentation, and patents.
