Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of programs, grants, administrative operations, and financial data. Develop evaluation methods, reconcile and validate information, perform cost-benefit analyses, prepare reports, assess workflows and data systems, and recommend improvements to organizational processes and efficiency. Coordinate studies with stakeholders, communicate findings, and support management decision-making at the NIH.

Build and maintain research data infrastructure connecting laboratory instruments, analysis pipelines, LIMS, repositories, databases, and cloud platforms. Develop ingestion and data transformation pipelines, manage metadata and persistent identifiers, deploy Kubernetes-based services, maintain CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, and integrate AI/ML tools for data discovery. The role also evaluates data-management technologies, trains research staff, and produces technical documentation and procedures.

Program, integrate, calibrate, and maintain autonomous laboratory robots and instruments. Develop MADSci-based workflows, digital twins, scheduling, APIs, data integrations, testing, monitoring, safety interlocks, and failure recovery. Translate biological protocols into reliable automated processes, connect systems to LIMS and metadata pipelines, troubleshoot hardware and software, evaluate simulation tools, and train laboratory staff. The role requires hands-on robotics, Python software development, biological laboratory experience, and compliance with NIH/HHS security requirements.
