Lead a six-person backend engineering team while remaining approximately 60% hands-on. Own backend architecture, Python and Node.js services, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD, reliability, observability, security, compliance, incident response, and delivery. Coach and hire engineers, establish engineering standards, manage concurrent workstreams, and partner cross-functionally to build scalable healthcare scheduling and workforce-management systems.

Owns end-to-end B2B SaaS customer implementations from requirements discovery through configuration, testing, and go-live. The role manages timelines, dependencies, integrations, UAT, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional handoffs while making product and backlog tradeoffs. The manager also identifies recurring implementation work for self-service improvements and runs multiple concurrent implementations in a startup environment.

Own end-to-end UX design across web and mobile, from research and discovery through launch and iteration. Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and design systems for complex B2B workflow products. Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and clinical operations stakeholders, conduct lightweight user research, support implementation, and use analytics and feedback to optimize shipped experiences.
