Build and own integrations between Axle Health and EHR/EMR systems, including legacy platforms with inconsistent APIs. Scope projects, make technical decisions, manage timelines, resolve customer issues, coordinate with vendors, and provide production support. Lead a six-person backend engineering team while remaining approximately 60% hands-on. The role manages timelines, dependencies, integrations, UAT, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional handoffs while making product and backlog tradeoffs. The manager also identifies recurring implementation work for self-service improvements and runs multiple concurrent implementations in a startup environment.

Own end-to-end UX design across web and mobile, from research and discovery through launch and iteration. Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and design systems for complex B2B workflow products. Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and clinical operations stakeholders, conduct lightweight user research, support implementation, and use analytics and feedback to optimize shipped experiences.

Own strategy and execution for scheduling, route optimization, and patient engagement features. Conduct user research with clinicians, patients, and healthcare providers; define product requirements; partner with engineering on scope and delivery; prioritize using data and customer insights; collaborate with sales, delivery, and account management; and support competitive analysis and market positioning. The role requires strong UX judgment, technical fluency, and experience shipping B2B vertical SaaS products in early-stage startups.
