The role requires strong writing, collaboration, public speaking, and media appearances across television, radio, podcasts, and social platforms. The reporter will work in a high-pressure environment while supporting Axios’s Smart Brevity style and reader-first mission.

Leads editorial strategy and content for Axios Live events, overseeing event concepts, public-facing materials, participant curation, live coverage, social reporting, and post-event recaps. Manages and coaches an editorial team, coordinates with newsroom and commercial stakeholders, maintains journalistic independence and Smart Brevity standards, and applies editorial judgment during live events. Uses approved AI tools for research and editing while ensuring accuracy and editorial quality.
