Sources, selects, qualifies, and manages electronic components and suppliers. Investigates alternate components and supply sources to reduce costs and improve quality and reliability. Serves as the technical interface between suppliers and development engineers, evaluates supplier change notifications, qualifies changes, develops vendor-selection procedures, and maintains component qualification records.

Creates and maintains manuals, installation procedures, maintenance instructions, troubleshooting guides, and upgrade documentation for complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, product, and technical teams to validate content, explain complex mechanical and process information, develop technical illustrations, and incorporate engineering changes. Supports new product introductions and documentation improvements while ensuring accuracy, usability, and adherence to documentation standards.

Performs quality-control testing and troubleshooting on newly built ion implantation systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. Diagnoses functional issues, implements corrective actions, documents test interventions, and supports production readiness at customer sites worldwide. Works hands-on with control, vacuum, robotics, virtual machine, and ion beam subsystems while collaborating with engineering, assembly, vendor, and customer teams. Requires up to 20% international travel and may work first, second, or compressed weekend shifts.
