Build and lead Avra’s People function, covering hiring systems, employer branding, performance management, career frameworks, culture, People Operations, onboarding, and AI-first internal tools. Partner directly with the CEO and leadership team while executing day-to-day People work. The role requires strategic judgment, hands-on delivery, Brazilian employment knowledge, fluent Portuguese and English, and experience designing People systems in high-growth or distinctive organizations.

Supports two founders with executive and personal administration, including calendars, travel, documents, expenses, scheduling, and follow-ups. Manages the São Paulo office, suppliers, facilities needs, events, and administrative workflows. Coordinates vendors and external stakeholders, maintains organized processes, and handles confidential information discreetly in a fast-paced startup environment. The role requires in-person work in São Paulo, English fluency, and Portuguese for daily operations.

Lead Avra’s AI research function and scientific strategy for relational foundation models. Manage and mentor research scientists and engineers while designing graph neural networks, representation-learning methods, and reproducible training and evaluation pipelines. Partner with engineering, data, MLOps, and go-to-market teams to deploy models for batch and online inference, establish benchmarks, address concept drift, and deliver measurable enterprise impact in regulated settings.
