Teams at Avidbots

Own the multi-quarter roadmap for Avidbots’ cleaning robot platforms, balancing capability, cost, reliability, and serviceability. Define requirements, prioritize field and customer insights, support engineering and manufacturing through NPI, and ensure commercial and deployment readiness. Track platform outcomes, build investment cases, support strategic sales opportunities, and serve as the escalation point for product questions. The role requires hands-on experience shipping and managing physical hardware products with embedded software and deployed customer installations.

Provide technical and customer support for robotic cleaning machines through email, messaging, and phone. Diagnose robot and system issues using schematics and manuals, resolve complaints, monitor and track support cases, assist field technicians, escalate complex problems, and participate in on-call support rotations. The role requires strong communication, troubleshooting, customer service, and adaptability in a dynamic team environment.

Develops and validates prototype electronics for autonomous floor-cleaning robots. Responsibilities include schematic and multilayer PCB design, hands-on board assembly and debugging, EMC/EMI design and pre-compliance testing, power and sensor integration, safety analysis, test fixture development, and production handoff. The role owns hardware from architecture through certification, supports external testing, diagnoses failures, and evaluates robotic sensors and mechatronics.
