Support the Director of Nursing in maintaining quality long-term care, coordinate resident care plans, supervise nursing staff, participate in admissions and management meetings, cover DON duties as needed, provide 24-hour on-call emergency coverage, and lead nursing department goals, team building, and quality improvement initiatives.

Oversee HR functions for a skilled nursing/long-term care facility: recruit using an ATS, run new hire orientation, manage benefits enrollment and leaves (FMLA), ensure labor law compliance, and collaborate with departments and regional HR team.

Coordinate and complete MDS/RAI assessments and care plans, ensure Medicare documentation and clinical reimbursement accuracy, audit records, educate staff, and maintain regulatory compliance.
