Provides administrative and operational support for a school bus transportation department. Coordinates driver communication, routes, schedules, staffing coverage, records, transportation changes, compliance documentation, vehicle records, and incident paperwork. Responds to inquiries from schools, parents, drivers, and staff; maintains data and confidential information; prepares reports; and escalates safety or operational issues. The role requires organization, communication, attention to detail, multitasking, and proficiency with office and transportation software.

Processes and verifies vendor invoices, codes transactions, resolves discrepancies, reconciles statements, and schedules ACH and check payments. Maintains accurate accounts payable records and responds to vendor inquiries. Also manages inventory tracking, monitors supply levels, prepares Excel reports, orders supplies, and evaluates suppliers for cost effectiveness. Requires strong organization, confidentiality, communication, problem-solving, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
