Own the company’s AI intelligence layer end to end, including reasoning, learning loops, evaluations, guardrails, and reliability. Build and deploy applied LLM systems for real-world users, establish the AI architecture, identify and address failure modes, and eventually hire and lead the AI team. The role emphasizes production AI judgment and systems building over model research or industry experience.

Own the company’s integration surface, beginning with CargoWise and expanding to Magaya, Descartes, and other operational platforms. Build safe bidirectional write-back connectors with idempotency, replay, reconciliation, validation handling, and workflow safeguards. Integrate deeply with the company’s canonical connector architecture using Python, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS. Apply hands-on TMS and CargoWise/eAdaptor expertise to modify customer systems of record reliably in production.

Own the product surface and underlying services for an AI-powered workflow platform. Build review, correction, and approval interfaces; durable state, jobs, queues, retries, and core domain models; and deliver features end to end from schema through user interface. The role requires strong Python skills, comfort with probabilistic systems, product judgment, customer engagement, and experience building at an early-stage company.
