Supports sourcing, make-or-buy decisions, price negotiations, and global cost-reduction initiatives involving component prices, tooling, and manufacturing investments. Collaborates across engineering, purchasing, finance, and suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and ensure savings are implemented. Requires automotive costing expertise, strong negotiation and project-management skills, and up to 50% travel.

Conduct reliability and validation tests on automotive electronic and mechanical prototypes. Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting samples, operating laboratory equipment, recording test data, maintaining equipment, following safety procedures, performing electronic and mechanical validation, using application software, and supporting laboratory procedure improvements under the guidance of a laboratory engineer.

Responsible for product and manufacturing line quality during automotive series production and facility launch. Interfaces with customers and suppliers on APQP, PPAP, warranty returns, and quality issues. Drives yield, DPMO, scrap, defect reduction, validation testing, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. Supports product development, design reviews, new launches, model rollouts, and line releases while communicating test results and quality outcomes to customers, engineers, and management.
