The EMS Communications Specialist ensures timely scheduling and transport of patients, managing phone requests, verifying insurance, and communicating with medical staff.

Provide clinical support and direct patient care in a physician office setting. Perform and document assigned duties under physician supervision per the State Board of Nursing, assist with clinic operations, and access medical records, supplies, and locked medication storage. Requires CPR certification and valid Virginia LPN or CMA licensure; prior physician office experience is preferred.

Provide front-desk and administrative support for the Neurology Clinic including answering phones, scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, document handling, record keeping, supply ordering, basic office equipment maintenance, and supporting patient and staff communication while maintaining confidentiality and efficient clinic flow.
