Build and improve a scan-to-BIM pipeline that converts point-cloud capture data into accurate, structured 3D BIM models. Responsibilities include model creation, mesh generation, data structuring, IFC and 3D-tool usage, and applying computer vision to automate 3D reconstruction. The role requires construction knowledge and hands-on experience with detailed 3D projects, with occasional quarterly onsite gatherings in San Francisco.

Lead the development of an AI-powered 4D construction scheduling product by applying hands-on construction planning and execution expertise. Interpret blueprints, guide product and engineering decisions, and ensure scheduling capabilities reflect real-world project practices. Manage and advise on construction project management workflows, collaborate with technical teams, and work in person approximately one week per month. Relocation support is available.

The Founding AI Engineer will develop an end-to-end scan-to-BIM pipeline, focusing on 3D scene understanding and BIM generation from spatial data.
